Long days on a phone or computer can leave you feeling tired without noticing it. A short, realistic break can reset your attention without requiring a perfect wellness routine.
Use a simple cue
Choose a regular moment: after sending an email, between appointments or every time you refill water. A cue makes the break easier to remember than relying on motivation.
Look away and move a little
For a minute or two, look across the room or out a window, relax your shoulders and stand up if you can. You do not need a workout—just a change of position and focus.
Make the break enjoyable
Try a glass of water, a favourite song, a few deep breaths or a short walk to another room. The best screen break is one you will actually repeat.
Do not aim to use technology perfectly. Aim to notice when you need a pause and give yourself a small one. Those moments can make busy days feel more manageable.
